David Jones Rolling Across America
According to the Washington State Coalition For The Homeless, on any given night in Washington, there are approximately 23,000 people who will be without a home. That is why David Jones is taking a bike ride – a long bike ride – to help raise awareness of the homeless problem in his home state. We see a lot of folks peddling through Sumpter, all with different routes. But David’s route is impressive…..a virtual “circle” around the country that will take him over 12,0000 miles and a year to complete. We enjoyed meeting David at the Scoop-N-Steamer as he was passing through Sumpter. We would like to wish him a safe ride and will be checking in on his progress from time to time over this next year.
